Francesca Pastine's studio practice is informed by larger global trends and their relationship to the personal. In her work, she locates the intersection of form and content and considers her approach to materials as a conduit to meaning. The concept and evolution of each project determines the medium and can include drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, paper cutting, and installations.
